This World Series is going to start tonight in Boston, Massachusetts the host for the first two games between the Cardinals and the Red Sox both of the clubs are having a good season so far but for both of the baseball clubs that really does not matter anymore at this point in time, even though both of the teams have claimed their first pennant in over a decade they would like to earn something that has more glory than winning a pennant and both teams know that and also the fans do too.
Just ask the Red Sox fans who are suddenly praying for hope and faith more then ever before in their lifetime where some Red Sox fans are saying they would do anything to see in person the Red Sox win a World Series Championship. Yes, the Red Sox have been in the world series before, in the 1986 Series, when they lost to the New York Mets but don’t blame the Red Sox when all they needed was only one strike. They also had some good old days before they made the worst move in baseball history out of the first 15 world series at that time they won five series and then after that as we all know it was the start of what Red Sox fans know as the curse of Babe Ruth.
The St .Louis Cardinals on the other hand have had it better than the Red Sox in most recent world series titles, they last won in the year of 1982, almost 23 years ago. The Red Sox, on the other hand, had their last title in the year of 1918, 86 years ago so.
Can the Cardinals extend that streak beyond 86 years or will the red sox and their fans finally get to celebrate after a long 86 years with out winning a World Series. I will give you my predictions on who is going to win the World Series right down below here.
